Home Remedies and Diet for Exzema

 

Eczema home remedy treatment is believed to be quite effective. Following are some eczema home remedies which have been reported to help many people.

Make a smooth paste with nutmeg and a few drops of water and apply. Grind to paste 1 tbsp turmeric powder to a tbsp of bitter neem leaves and apply. Apply a mixture of 1 tsp camphor and 1 tsp sandalwood paste on the rashes. To relive itching, put natural vitamin E on the affected skin. Zinc can be taken orally and applied directly on the affected skin. To reduce inflammation use shark cartilage and lotion of blueberry leaves. Use pine tar soap to wash the affected skin. Applying coconut oil to the portions affected with eczema is an effective home remedy treatment for exzema. Evening primrose oil skin care products help as they contain gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) relieves eczema. Use pine tar soap which you can buy from your local herb shop.  

Diet for Exzema

It is seen that diet never causes exzema, it is the genes of a person that cause eczema. However if you are allergic or sensitive to certain foods then try avoiding them as they can trigger eczema. Dairy products, eggs, nuts, preservatives and citrus fruits are more likely to cause eczema. Eat salmon two or three times a week. Flaxseeds or flax oil capsules which is available at the health food store provide omega-3 fatty acids which relieves exzema. It is suggested that you grind enough for two tablespoons a day in a blender or clean coffee grinder, and sprinkle on foods like cereal or potatoes. This is suggested as a good diet for exzema.  A serving of watercress daily is said to be good exzema diet along with a daily drink of parsley, spinach, celery, and wheat grass. Drink plenty of water and fruit juices like carrot juice, spinach juice, orange and tomato juice. If you want to give flavor to the juice, add need to, add some pepper or your favorite spice. Add I tbsp of vinegar and I tbsp of honey to instant tea and drink it. Increase your intake of vitamin B6, the deficiency of which may cause eczema.
