What are the different kinds of Exzema?
Although Exzema
is a generic term, there are actually many different kinds
of Exzema. (see exzema
pictures). These may look different from each other but all share
the common symptoms
of exzema like inflammation and itching. It is important to
distinguish what kind of Exzema a person suffers from to administer the right exzema
treatment. However it is
not always a very easy task and therefore it is important that you consult a
trained medical practitioner if you think you have Exzema. Sometimes people may
have different kinds
of Exzema present at the same time.
The different
types
of Exzema can broadly be classified in two main categories:

Exogenous or Contact
Exzema, which is caused by skin contact with an external
substance that may be natural or synthetic. For example extreme hot or cold
conditions, or harsh chemicals.

Endogenous or
Constitutional Exzema, which is caused by an inherent tendency of the body
and may affect a person even if they lived in a highly sanitized
environment. People who suffer from this kind
of Exzema will react to triggers that cause Exogenous or Contact
Exzema also. They seem to have a highly sensitive system that
reacts to slightest changes. This kind
of Exzema is more likely to be inherited.
